[Accidental audio]
[It starts out just as a recording of some music - Himawari's practicing on the piano over at the bar, and there's the occasional chirp from Tanpopo to accompany the music. It's a slow tune, something vaguely recognizable - it's one that she plays a lot.]
[But then, suddenly, she's giggling. And then she's just laughing hysterically, uncontrollably.]
S- sorry, sorry. I just thought of a joke... [She's speaking to Tanpopo, who chirps a little in confusion] H- hee, you're so cute!
[The laughter continues for a while before she starts up the music again. But it's hard to hear it at first over the sound of her laughing.]
A lot of people have been arriving lately... I wonder if...
[But she stops herself from actually speaking it. Words have power, and she so rarely speaks her wishes out loud - for fear of the opposite happening.]
[Suddenly, though, the music stops with a loud bang as she slams her hands down on the keys. It's a loud, disruptive sound only upset by the sound of Himawari outright sobbing, uncontrollably]
Why haven't you come back yet?

[Accidental video]
[Shows Hima walking out around town when two stray cats cross her path. She stops, and goes ♥ at them... even as Tanpopo kind of bunches his feathers up, paranoid little birdie.]
So cute... [And then, unbeknownst to Hima, a heart appears over her head, glowing a slight white color.]
[She looks as if she'll step forward and pet them, but something stops her. Instead, she just smiles down at them. She's gotten too close, though, and the cats slink away quickly. The heart fades from white to a wispy mixture of blue and grey.]
Too bad. [Smiles over at Tanpopo] I know that you don't like it when I get to close to them. [L-laughs a bit, but Tanpopo just kind of tugs at her earlobe and chirps. Bird equivalent of a B| face.]
[Her smile softens a bit, the heart shining a faint pink. She luffs her silly bird-chan.]
[As quickly as this scene seems to wrap up, however, just as suddenly as the heart appeared, Hima's expression suddenly darkens, and the heart becomes a pure slab of black. She scowls at Tanpopo and then turns her face away.]
Ugh.
[[The mood heart event is not being played opposites. The Piffle Princess Candy event, however, is. Hima has "fallen into hatred" for all the people she cares about. So. Beware of that.]] |

It's hard to believe it's really been four years... [A tiny little chirp from a certain teeny bird] Mmm. It's not a bad thing, though. At least, I don't think so.
... I'm happy. [Wata's back, after all.] That's something, isn't it?
[Another chirp.]
[There's the sound of footsteps and then the sound of a bell ringing - Hima's made it to the candy shop and as she sets down the journal on the counter, it flips to video:]
[And shows Hima, in uniform, actually smiling genuinely for once. But then, just as quickly, she stops, frozen in place. The tray of candy she was holding falls from her hands. And, for anyone who can sense these things - for one brief moment, it looks like the air around her shifts and warps uncomfortably before snapping back into place.]
[Her smile falls and she stares down at the ground for a moment, looking confused. She doesn't even seem to register the candy she dropped.]
What was...?
[[ooc: Hima has been hit by the mutations event - multiplying the strength of her curse several times beyond what it was in canon. Approaching her may result in some serious curse-related harm. Also, should your character need it (and feel free to poke me about this), she can also be affected by the hand-holding event to ensure she actually touches your character.

[There's some shifting, as she shoves away packaged food away despite having been affected by the event for a few days now. She's been doing her best to ignore it/hide it... but she's hungry now.]
[Then there's the sound of someone stumbling and Tanpopo is squawking in disapproval.] I'm okay. It's fine -
ow, don't tug my ear like that, please. Tanpopo, it's fine... [Another slightly angry chirp. Tanpopo disapproves of her keeping it to herself.]
It will pass.

[Accidental video]
[It's not Hima who's there when the journal is recording, but rather a view of the ceiling of the bar. Until a moment later when a little bird hops into view and chirps, tilting his head to the side as he observes the camera.]
[And then a couple fingers appear and stroke the top of his head a little absently, and he chirps again. The hand withdraws and, soon enough, the sound of a piano starts up]
This is the song you like best, right, Tanpopo?
[Tanpopo chirps again, but he's still peering at the journal: (O v O)]

Everyone, I know it's been a while since that time and I've already said so to a few people, but even so: thank you very much for your help, when this world's magic was doing things again. [it has been a while, so feel free to assume she's already talked to you, or not!]
Summer seems to be getting closer and closer. I'm glad for that. As celebration, the candy shop has these for sale!
[And here she switches to the video function, and shows off little chocolates that are shaped like various different kinds of animals, mostly of the cute, spring/summer variety.]
I think they're very cute! [She laughs.]
[The video pans for a moment and then Tanpopo suddenly flies down onto the scene, hopping beside Hima's hand, which is busy stacking little boxes of these chocolates. He chirps and kind of nips at her hand, obviously displeased with the false cheeriness. She pauses, and then pets him for a moment with a finger.]
It's fine, Tanpopo... Ah - the video! I'm sorry to bother you all with such boring things. Please stop by if you're interested!
[The video turns off with some fumbling on Hima's part]

[There's a little girl near the shops (as she'd originally been on her way home from the candy shop), looking very confused a little afraid as she fists her hands in her now rather oversized dress]

[She looks like she might cry for a moment until she shakes her head, biting at her lower lip]
M... Mama? Papa? Grandmother...? [.........] Is anyone there?
[Her voice isn't very loud, though, so even if someone were nearby, it would be hard to hear her] [She fidgets more]
[And then Tanpopo chirps from the ground and she starts in surprise]
Ah - ! I'm sorry, I -
[Tanpopo flaps a bit and then goes to her shoulder, landing there comfortably and tugging at a piece of hair. She stares at him in wonder.]
[...] Oh...
[With a hesitant hand, she reaches out and touches the top of his head before snatching her hand back, guilty]

[It's the morning and, like years past, Hima's in the candy shop early just in case anyone needs some last minute chocolates for their friends/family/loved ones.]
[She's currently stocking some of the shelves, humming to herself with some backup chirping from Tanpopo when he deems it necessary.]
I think this should be enough, just in case, right, Tanpopo? ["Pi!"]
[Hima steps away from the shelves and heads back over towards the counter, where the journal is resting against the cash register]
I hope that everyone has enough to give one another. We can close up early in the afternoon, right? And there'll be enough left over to give to -
[And as Hima's approaching the journal, behind her you can see one of the shelves of chocolates suddenly tipping over on its own, hitting the one next to it, and creating a domino effect - all the recently stocked chocolate spilling across the floor or smashing beneath the shelves. They fall with a crash, which makes Hima jump and spin around, Tanpopo squawking - ]
Wh - huh?
